Leopard Errata

There is a bug when running the widget under Leopard that will give you authentication errors.  Thankfully there is a simple work around until I managed to get the widget updated.  Follow these steps and you won’t have any problems:

  1. Switch to the back of the widget
  2. Enter your username
  3. Press <Tab>
  4. Enter your password
  5. Press <Tab>  <– this is the important bit
  6. Switch to the front of the widget.

The widget should now work as advertised.

The widget is based on Paul Johnson’s Konfabulator widget (http://www.hillmanminx.net/usagemeter/). Code and images from Paul’s widget are used with permission.

Version 2.0 Beta Release

I’ve made a bit of a start on Version 2 of this widget. It is usable at the moment, but needs some more work. The usual disclaimers apply, if it breaks you get all the broken pieces and get to clean up the mess.
